I haven’t seen my cousin (who is like a sister to me) in FOREVER, so I decided to spend some QT with her this weekend.
With Christmas coming up, we wanted to browse Target to check out all the decorations (I scouted this and this and I’m SO in love) and to also check out the L’Oreal hair event that was going on this weekend.
Just like the past events, L’Oreal hair experts were there giving hair makeovers and because I have a forever love for braids and still can’t dutch or french braid to save my life, I left it to the experts to transform my hair.
I loved loved loved the look of the messy effortless braid and it was surprisingly easy! I can’t wait to recreate this look at home.
After that, we headed on over to get some high tea at the cutest little area in Fremont called Niles. It was like I was transported to another era with all the antique shops around me.

I purchased this pink coat last year and I thought wearing it to high tea was the perfect occasion to wear it and the braid was such a good accompaniment to keep my look a little more casual.
The high tea at Tyme For Tea & Co was a success (the pumpkin spice scone was scrumptious!) and if you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend checking it out. It was such a great afternoon to catch up with my cousin and I’ll definitely be back.
If you’re interested in also getting your hair styled, the Target Beauty U L’Oreal hair event will be going on from 11 AM – 3 PM at select locations. Check here to see if your local Target will be holding a beauty event this weekend.
