Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Collection Review (c/o)
This month, Sonia Kashuk teamed up with artist Dana Louise Kirkpatrick to create the Knock Out Beauty Collection at Target. The collection includes the Shadow Box smoky palette, a brush set, Skin Glow in Golden Gloves, Powder Brush Lip Topcoat, and nail polishes in Roll with the Punches and On the Ropes.
I was lucky enough to try a few products from the collection this past week.
For the makeup junkie who wants a fun makeup brush collection, this Sonia Kashuk brush set is a great value. It basically has everything you need, and I really enjoyed using the eye shadow brushes, especially the crease brush! No shedding and, surprisingly, the yellow bristles don’t look too dingy after using it. I’m still getting used to the foundation and blush/bronzer brushes, and I’m trying to find the best way to use them.
The collection has empowering messages written on the products, such as, “You Are Beautiful.” I love that Target is supporting makeup and brands that can boost someone’s self-confidence.
The Shadow Box smoky palette has 16 neutral shades, with each row labeled to make it really easy to use. There are a variety of finishes, including mattes, shimmers, and mattes with glitter running through them.
The tones in this palette are spot-on too—I’d say it mostly contains neutral and warm tones, but the last column has slightly cooler tones.
The palette is also laid out where you can use all four shades in each column to create a look. Super easy, right?
With this look, I used a matte creamy white on my brow bone (first row, second e/s to the right), a cream on my lid (second row, far left e/s), a warm light brown in my crease (third row, third e/s to the right), a warm brown on the lid (fourth row, third e/s to the right), and a black in the outer corner.
The lower lash line is smoked out with a black eyeliner and the warm brown that I used on the lid. The inner corner is highlighted with a white shimmer (first row, far left e/s).
The eye shadows are buildable and the shimmers have a more muted finish. For the price, the Shadow Box palette has a great selection of shades (especially the mattes!) if neutrals are your thing.
The last product I tried from the collection is the nail polish in Roll with the Punches. Cobalt blue is one of my favorite colors, so I naturally gravitated toward this shade—along with the rest of my outfit. 😛
The finish of the nail polish is kinda jellied and pretty much perfect with two coats. I’ve been wearing the nail polish for five days now, and so far so good! No chips or cracking yet.
I highly recommend checking out Sonia Kashuk’s latest collection at Target, especially if you want good-quality products for a great value. You can even check online to see if your local Target has the products in stock! I really do believe that you can get some amazing makeup looks with drugstore products.
The Sonia Kashuk Knock Out Beauty Collection is available now at Target.

She is very attractive but for the day the makeup seems to be a little heavy. She is young and doesn’t have to wear as much makeup because she looks good either way. Brushes look wonderful.
