theBalm Batter Up Eyeshadow Stick Review & Swatches (c/o)
It’s been a real minute since I’ve used cream eyeshadow sticks, how could I forget how amazing they are!?
Last week, theBalm sent me a very exciting package filled with 5 shades of Batter Up. These eyeshadow sticks are super creamy and the finish is metallic.
I tested these eyeshadow sticks on my oily hooded lids and guess what, they did NOT budge or crease.

I’m also really impressed with the color range, there’s something for everyone here, whether it’s for a smoky eye or everyday look, the neutral shades all make it easy to wear.
Not one color looked dull or lacked pigmentation and I know I could wear these cream eyeshadow sticks solo or as a base for powder eyeshadow.
If you’re in a hurry and need a really simple but fast eye look, grab one of these. Depending on the occasion, I just take a cream eyeshadow stick without any primer, then rub it all over my eyelid and lower lash line and blend FAST. The key here is blending quickly, either with your fingers or brush, or else the eyeshadow stick will set. Once it’s set, you’ll need an oil-based makeup remover to take the product off.
What are your thoughts about cream eyeshadow sticks? Do you like using cream eyeshadows?
theBalm’s Batter Up Eyeshadow Sticks are available in 8 shades for $17 at theBalm.com.

I’m not huge into shadow sticks but Dugout and Pitch Hitter are just gorgeous! But what’s up with the odd naming scheme lol

I was a softball player for years (even playing competitively), so I’m a bit obsessed with this range. Dugout, pinch hitter and moonshot are freaking gorgeous. And I’m so glad they lasted on oily lids; I have problems with everything creasing and smudging if I don’t apply a primer, but I’ve been looking for lower maintenance shadows like this.
