theBalm Nude Dude Palette Review and Swatches (c/o)
I haven’t heard much hype around theBalm Nude ‘Dude Palette yet, but I’m expecting it to come very soon. Similar to the Nude ‘Tude Palette, this one also contains 12 neutral shades. This latest palette contains 4 mattes and 8 shimmers, but unlike the Nude ‘Tude Palette, this one contains rosier/plumier shades that I find much more flattering on my skin tone. The tones immediately reminded me of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, but honestly, I’m liking this one much more. Major points in my book for having deeper shades like Friendly, Funny, and Fine that make it easy for me to add more subtle definition if I want it.
As you can see in the swatches, most of the colors aren’t really too loud against my skin tone and this wouldn’t be a go-to smokey palette for me (although, I could create one if I really wanted to), so I think I’ll be reaching for this palette on an everyday basis when I want a more natural look. I’m most excited about the shade Fit, which is such a gorgeous rose gold shade – I can’t wait to wear it on the lids and with Fiesty in my crease. I find theBalm eyeshadows don’t last very long on my oily lids, so I’d advise using an eyeshadow primer beforehand.

I’m loving the shades in this palette, though I’m not sure how to wear the darker shades. I’m not very good at doing the smokey eye unfortunately.

I’ve surprised myself – I don’t own this one yet! But seriously. Nude Dude. MUST HAVE. I wore Nude ‘Tude for such a long time after purchasing it and Dude seems to have the same amazing theBalm quality.
I haven’t heard a lot of beauty bloggers talk about it that much either, but I’m also surprised you don’t have it! Can’t wait to see it on your blog if you decide to get your hands on it. 🙂
I haven’t seen this palette in my local drugstores yet but I’m definitely giving this one a try once they’re out! Love the shades Friendly and Flawless! I can see myself wearing those two on a daily basis 😀

I had no idea there was a second palette from theBalm! I have the Nude Tude and I love it but this one has such lovely shades too. You’re right, it is similar to the Naked3!

It also reminded me of the UD Naked 3 but I think you’re right on those other shades to help you add definition. I was about to purchase the Meet Matte palette but I already had my cart full of other products haha, I think I’ll purchase it on the next visit.
