Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette Review & Swatches (c/o)
Dying over the packaging of the latest Too Faced palette from the Chocolate Bar Eye Collection.
SO CUTE.
The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette contains 16 eyeshadow shades, with a mix of neutrals, mattes, and a few brights.

All of the Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palettes really understand my needs as a neutral lover. In this palette, the two largest eyeshadows are a matte all over shade (Divinity) and a shimmery pale highlight for your inner tear duct (Satin Sheets). It also has a few transition shades: Cashew Chew, Pecan Praline, and my favorite, Mocha.
All the eyeshadows are perfectly pigmented and so smooth. The texture is similar to Urban Decay eyeshadows, but I much prefer Too Faced’s shade selection.
The palette has a good mix of colors, I have my bronzy shades, cool-toned mauves, purples, and a few brights whenever I want to step out of my comfort zone. Although I’m not likely to use the shades, Totally Fetch or Cotton Candy, they don’t look terrible on me and I could maybe see myself using it a few times.
Did I mention the eyeshadows smell like chocolate too?
The eyeshadows apparently contain real cocoa powder, which claims to have antioxidants for the skin.
The packaging is ultra durable and the palette is ideal to bring for traveling since it has such a good variety. I actually bring the other Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes with me on trips all the time!
Compared to the other two Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palettes, the shades in this palette lean slightly more pink and mauve, while the Semi-Sweet is really warm toned, and the original Chocolate Bar Palette has darker and more neutral shades.
I still prefer the original Chocolate Bar Palette, but for any nude and Too Faced fan, this one is a great addition.
The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette is available for $49 at TooFaced.com, Sephora, Ulta, and Macy’s.

When I first saw this palette I didn’t think I needed it as I already have the Chocolate Bar palette but your swatches have convinced me otherwise. The top row of swatches are to die for and definitely my colours! xx

This is my first Chocolate Bar palette, and I’m completely in love with it. I always opt for cooler, pinkier shades, so this was right up my alley. The colour selection is amazing, as is the pigmentation. I’m so happy that I was able to get my hands on this. I can see it quickly become a staple in my collection.

I already own the Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar Palette and I love it… but this one still calls to me. The colors look like a great mix of cool and warm tones and include enough different colors from my palette that I don’t think I’d feel too bad about the purchase. And nothing beats that cocoa smell in the morning… it makes me excited to put on my makeup!
