trèStiQue Bronzer Stick Swatches & Review
When a beauty brand believes that everyday makeup should be easy and quick, I gotta try it.
trèStiQue’s line of products is interesting – everything is stick form, designed for portability and ease. In fact, each product includes a hidden tool to make life that much easier.
I love a good cream contour and when I want added definition to my face, I like to apply a really dark concealer (or cream contour) below my cheek bones, around my temples and my jawline. Life is much easier when your cream contour comes in stick form.
All you really have to do is draw in lines where you want to contour and then blend. The texture is really creamy, so if you have oily skin, you’ll have to set it with some sort of powder.
Since it’s designed for everyday use, don’t expect any crazy Kim K contouring. It’s also more of a bronzer, it’s warm toned and not ideal for chiseling out your cheek bones. As seen below, I tried to contour with it, but when blended out, the effects were barely seen because I am so tan already. The pictures below are at least three layers of product to get it that dark.
The Contour Brush is hidden at the bottom of the stick (which I didn’t notice until after I took these pics). The bristles are short and the brush is dense, which I found hard to blend out the contour. It ended up making my contour really patchy, so I had to resort to my fingers to fix.
It seems like my main concern with most products are tone these days – sorry I don’t have new feedback to give, but with my skin tone, sometimes finding the right product is hard!
I really like the trèStiQue Bronzer Stick in theory, but the tone and shade isn’t right for me…it needs to be a little bit darker.
I’d recommend the trèStiQue Bronzer Stick to:
- Light medium to medium skin tones
- Someone who likes a natural bronze
- Normal to dry skin
- Someone who needs a quick and easy way to bronze
The trèStiQue Bronzer Stick with a tutorial is available for $34 at trèStiQue.com.

Question for you…what’s the best drugstore (or affordable department store) tinted moisturizer out there…and same for bronzer? Thanks!
