Wet n Wild Fall and Halloween 2014 Color Icon Eyeshadow PalettesWet n Wild Melrose at NightWet n Wild Smoke and MelroseWet n Wild Haute Hollywood and A Karat in the World
So yeah, this happened. I find Wet n Wild eyeshadows the best bargain at the drugstore and I basically have most of their permanent collection eyeshadow palettes. They’re cheap, they generally have great pigmentation and are super buttery.
I picked up two of the Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes from the Fall 2014 Collection: Melrose at Night and Smoke and Melrose. There were two other palettes that didn’t really interest me, a blue smokey eye and a standard smokey eye palette with a fuchsia eyeshadow. I’ve been seeing mauves as a trend this Fall and purple-y tones really compliment my skin tone well. I haven’t actually checked, but I’ve also heard that these palettes have a lot of Urban Decay Naked 3 dupes in it…
The next two Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes are from the Halloween 2014 Collection: Haute Hollywood and A Karat in the World. I have no real explanation why I picked these up – they’re neutral and I just really like them, period. They have other palettes available (I think a purple, a blue and a bunch of other smokey greys) and I have to say, they did a really good job at curating looks this year. I noticed that Wet n Wild has additional products for Halloween costumes as well, which I think are perfect for make up you’re only going to use once a year.
I picked these palettes up this past weekend at CVS and Walgreens for $4.99 each. I suggest you get to the drugstore if you really want these, there were only a few left when I was there!

For whatever reason, the pigmentation looks less than par whenever I see these palettes and the fallback is very apparent. I would have sparkles all over my face! It’s good to hear that they are buttery and maybe just need better packaging to show them off properly!

The Melrose at Night palette looks beautiful! I wish Wet n’ Wild was sold in Canada so I could get my hands on it!
