You know me, I love a good neutral eyeshadow, but I naturally gravitate towards the super warm shades. I decided to experiment with different shades in my everyday autumn makeup and I may have fallen in love with ashy browns all over again. The eyeshadows and most of the makeup I used are from yaby*, a makeup line created by a Canadian based makeup artist. Here’s what I used:
FACE: Make Up Forever HD and yaby concealer refills in Cream & Honey.
CHEEKS: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and yaby blush refill in bl014.
LIPS: yaby Lip Color Refill in Vamptress (applies sheer)
EYES: NYC Liquid Eyeliner, tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, yaby eyeshadow refill ES035 in the crease, ES192 as the highlight on brow bone and inner tear duct, ES231 on the lid and lower lash line, & ES168 concentrated towards the lash line.
I didn’t have a good match for the concealer, so I mixed the two colors to get a good color. It covered my dark circles well and I found using a brush made the blending easier.
Surprisingly, the lip Color was really sheer and was comfortable to wear on the lips.
The eyeshadows I used (the mattes) were not as pigmented as expected, but it blended beautifully. I guess this was a blessing in disguise because it kept me from not applying too much makeup for the day time. I’ve swatched some yaby shimmer eyeshadow too and those were so pretty (can’t wait to do a tutorial for that!).
Have you tried any yaby products?

This look is great, very pretty – and your skin’s really glowing!
