Zoya Summer 2015 Island Fun Swatches & Review
This post is part 2 of Zoya’s Summer Collections. In case you missed Paradise Sun, check out my swatches here.
Not going to lie, I am way more excited about this collection than Paradise Sun. I personally wear 90% creams or non-shimmery shades on a regular basis, so I could definitely see myself wearing these polishes much more often than the polishes in Paradise Sun.
You probably guessed that this entire collection was inspired by a tropical getaway. Unlike Paradise Sun where I thought some shades belonged in a holiday/Christmas collection, all the shades in Island Fun looked like they belong together and are very Summer appropriate.
This collection performed much better as well. With the exception of Jace, all of the polishes were highly pigmented on the first coat and I could have done without applying a second. Jace was a little streaky, so I needed 2-3 per nail to get it fully opaque. Although Jace didn’t apply as well as the others, I’d still use it!
There isn’t one color I disliked from this collection and I can’t wait to keep wearing them for the rest of the Summer. I can’t even pick a favorite!
If you had to choose, which color is your fave?

I love the purple and the pink colours! I think a yellow or a bright orange would have been nice in the collection too. xx

Good point!

Those colours are absolutely gorgeous. I’m personally a huge Essie polish fan, but Serenity, and Demetria are stunning colours.

I love Essie too, but Zoya is a great brand to try if you’re conscious about the ingredients.

My faves are definitely Nana and Talia!
