Zoya Summer 2015 Paradise Sun Collection Swatches & Review
The Zoya Paradise Sun Collection is one of two collections released for Summer. Consisting of mostly brights, these shimmers are meant to wear on its own.
Mae, a magenta, and Aphrodite, a red-orange, appeared more jelly than the others with glitter flecks running through them. Mae was much more frosty with more glitter running through it than Aphrodite. Both were easy to apply and I did two coats to get them up to its full vibrancy.
Selene, Oceane, and Isa were extremely metallic and frosty. These three polishes needed only two coats and were pretty full coverage, even at one layer. Selene and Oceane were a little too frosty for my taste.
Lastly, Genesis is a creamy white with glitter flecks and a semi-frosty finish (the camera didn’t really pick that up). This was by far the hardest to apply – I needed at least three coats and was really streaky.
My faves out of the collection are Mae, Aphrodite, and Isa. Isa is something I don’t have in my collection yet and I love the blue-toned purple. I also don’t have any jellies in my collection either, so I’m really looking forward to using Aphrodite. These three were really easy to apply and are exactly the colors I would choose for Summer. I could see how Selene and Oceane are reminiscent of a tropical vacation, but for some reason I could see these fitting into a holiday collection instead.
Stay tuned for the Island Fun Collection which should be up on the blog by next Monday.
Available for $9 each at Zoya.com, Amazon.com, and in-store at Ulta.

Aphrodite looks to die for!! Is it coral, orange? It looks like a perfect blend of both!
