Zoya Whispers Collection 2016 Review & Swatches
Zoya recently released its transitional collection, Whispers. The collection is full of muted shades, ranging from a warm nude to a creamy pastel blue.
Although the collection is appropriate for the upcoming season, I think these shades could easily be worn in the summer.
For the most part, the first coat of all these polishes were a little streaky, but thankfully, the coats evened out by the 2nd or 3rd coat.
April required 3 coats for complete opacity while Ireland and Eastyn were the smoothest to apply. Besides April, all the polishes needed 2 coats.
Because I remembered that pastel shades were a huge hit last spring, I really wanted to like the shades in this collection. My favorite shades were Eastyn, Lake, and April, but I have to dock a couple points off of April since it was the streakiest in the collection.
As for the others? Some of them looked a little sickly on me. Misty was the most interesting shade in the bottle (I don’t have anything like it in my collection), but too bad it didn’t suit me.
If I had to choose, Eastyn, Lake, and Misty are worth checking out, but other than that, I prefer Zoya’s previous muted collections (Naturel is AMAZING).
What’s your favorite in the Zoya Whispers Collection?
