I feel very lucky to be a part of the SF Bay Area blogging community and feel even luckier to call some of them my friends. One of the things I love most is how supportive we are of one another – we give each other tips, bounce ideas off one another, and provide each other with emotional support. So when Anh from 9 to 5 Chic invited me to her event at Central Kitchen with Franciacorta, I had to show my support!
If you follow me on Snapchat (@thebeautyvanity) and Instagram (@thebeautyvanity), you might have seen a preview of the event already. I was blown away with the decor, the food, and the wine! I’ve never been to Central Kitchen or tried Franciacorta wine, so after this event, I can honestly say I’m converted.
I didn’t want to dress over the top, so for this event, I went for this recently thrifted fringe Banana Republic blazer and paired it with a simple silky white tank, black jeans, and some minimalistic sandals.
Makeup was also pretty easy – I used one of the antique gold eyeshadows from the Morphe 35OS palette (dupe for MAC Woodwinked) and since I knew I was going to be eating all night, I applied MAC Soar lipliner all over the lips. Here’s the full list of makeup:
