A few weeks ago, I went on a girl date with fellow South Bay blogger, Monica from Living in Vogue. We’ve become good friends over the years and I feel like I can talk to her about anything!
Anyway, because we can talk for hours, we decided to head over to a local favorite spot of ours. The South Bay’s food scene is slowly becoming more trendy (which I love!!) and it’s always so fun to experience new restaurants and lounges with good friends.
I discovered Orchard City Kitchen last year and every time I’ve been, the food has always been a hit. The portions are tapas style, so it’s good to share and pair it with their craft cocktails.
Cardigan (old, similar) | Madewell Tee | Madewell Necklace | YSL Sunglasses (old, similar) | Zara Jeans (old, similar) | F21 Heels
Although I love dressing up and wearing heels, I like to style my outfits with a casual twist. This cardigan and loose fitting tee were just what I needed for a laid-back girly session with Monica.
These heels are one of my latest purchases that I’ve been dying to break in. I still can’t believe these heels are from F21 and I love them so much, I decided to buy all the colors! :O
Happy hour was just as good as dinner and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. We basically ordered everything off the HH menu, but the mixed nuts were my fave. I can’t resist anything with truffle and I found myself munching on these nuts the entire time!
[South Bay-ers] Definitely try the Orchard City Kitchen if you and your girlfriends are looking for a trendy spot to have happy hour or a holiday get together, but make sure to get there early if you want to make happy hour (it starts to get crowded before 5) and definitely make a reservation if you want to eat dinner.
What’s your go-to happy hour spot in your neighborhood?

I love OCK! I’ve only been there a few times, mostly for drinks, but the Tater Tot Poutine is the best. Maybe I’ll bump into you there one day!
