Can we all take a moment and celebrate the fact that it’s Fall? It’s personally the start of my favorite time of year not just because of Halloween and all the food coming up (or should I say, food coma?), but the shades!
One of the perks of Fall is vampy nail shades. They’re flattering for every skin tone and speak to my soul. But there are a few that keep calling me back, all of which are both beautiful shades and perfect for the professional with a gorgeous Fall color.

butter LONDON | La Moss
Don’t be alarmed at the shade in the bottle. It’s not black (not that I would ignore a gorgeous black on my nails)! The main reason I keep coming back to La Moss is the color. It’s a vampy berry shade you can pair with any outfit, whether it’s casual, professional, or even fancy for those upcoming holiday parties! Let’s not forget that butter LONDON is 8-Free – this means there’s no Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, or TPHP in their formula, making it one of the healthiest nail polishes to wear.
Nails Inc | NailKale in Bruton Mews
I’ve found that green isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some shades aren’t the most flattering on some skin tones, but trust me – there are some gorgeous shades out there no matter what your skin tone is. Nails Inc’s Bruton Mews is one of them.
This deep green from their Nailkale line doesn’t lean toward the earthy end. It actually has a cool undertone to it that doesn’t overpower the hue. I recommend pairing this with black or grey. Even better? It goes with a great variety of lip colors! (Yes, I like to cater my lip color to my nails.) The formula is absolute perfection and applies with ease, especially with Nails Inc’s curved brush.

Zoya | Natty
I’ve noticed that blue isn’t exactly the most popular shade out there. But can we appreciate how beautiful Natty by Zoya is? The 10-free (yes, TEN free!) brand’s muted blue detracts from any unflattering undertones, so it’s perfect for – literally – any skin tone. This relaxing blue reminds me of Fall/Winter weather that never goes out of style. Did I also mention that Zoya is 10-free, cruelty-free and vegan?
Christian Louboutin | Sevillana
Confession: I love an elegant nail polish bottle. Actually, I’m a sucker for an elegant nail polish bottle. So what happened when Christian Louboutin released his line? I tried out this beauty, Sevillana. It’s really similar to butter LONDON’s La Moss, but if you have cash to burn and want a shade that has a berry-colored element to it, I couldn’t recommend this one more.
OPI | German-icure by OPI
Last but not in the very least is one of my top favorite shades ever – OPI’s German-icure. Vampy? Check. Autumn color? Check. Shimmery? Check. I feel happiness when wearing this color. It looks a lot darker in person, so expect a true vampy shimmer from this shade.
Are you into the vampy shades or want a warmer toned nail polish color for Fall? I personally think vamp shades are gorgeous for all, even if your skin tone is light or darker. Here’s a fun thought piece – in the comments, name your top three Fall polishes. GO!
